Opinion: The set of criteria is well researched and makes perfect sense. Even before my own initial testing I expected a fairly high strike rate, and that has been confirmed in actual betting. You can also experiment with your version – loosen some criteria, or broaden others (by including National Hunt races, for example. Just remember, once you move outside the boundaries of the advice you paid for, your on your own!).

Criticism/Advice: My only criticism is that the place dividends tend to be a little lower than the prices quoted in the manual (if you strictly adhere to the criteria). Fortunately the place betting market is generous at Betfair, so stick to the betting exchange, and your return should be satisfactory.

Opinion: As I’ve mentioned, virtual football has some advantages over actual football betting. As fresh rounds of matches start every 90 seconds, there’s no time (or need) for lengthy league table analysis. Most systems included in the manual therefore teach you how to quickly spot a potential bet and to use formulas to quickly determine your bet size. You also have to opportunity to “play for fun” before you start betting for real, so you can paper test the betting systems for several virtual seasons before committing any real money.

Criticism/Advice: Most of the systems make use of progressive betting, which for some is a necessary evil, and for others it’s just plain evil. If you’re not one to up your bets to make up for losses, then this product is not for you.

Opinion: If you’re serious about making money with sports betting, you know at some point you’d have no choice other than to check stats, jot notes down on a piece of paper, comparing numbers and other tedious activities reminiscent of of an office job. But what if you see, after a few weeks of doing this, that your betting account grows at a steady rate? What if this tedious jotting down of results and stats and odds only take up an hour or so per week? That is what you can expect from the  Compiler System: well-researched angles into profiting from top performing teams, a high strike rate, and the steadily growing bankroll that is the expected result from using a superior system.

Criticism/Advice: It’s a system. It tries to make it simple for you and me who either don’t have the time to develop something similar on our own, or we don’t want to bother. This same fact which makes it a good solution to the problem of what to bet on, is also it’s weakness. Not even the expert veteran of football betting can guarantee success. This “bad point” does not apply to just the Compiler System, but to all systems, not matter how credible they are, or how much experience the author has in football betting.

Opinion: The system itself is fairly simple, requiring checking some stats to determine a team’s current form, and to establish the potential value of backing them. The system also teaches what to look for in both league matches and cup matches. Over or under 2.5 goals and picking correct scores are also covered in the manual. If you follow the system you’ll already be on your way to regular profits, but to make it even easier, the creator of the Football Maestro package also sends out his own selections almost every day. The general consensus of Football Maestro fans is that the selections alone are worth the price of the package.

Criticism/Advice: The sales page promises that you will take any bookmaker or betting exchange to the cleaners. Whatever. The selection system and the general ideas are good. However, if you expect the holy grail of football betting, keep looking. No one, not even the most confident of football betting gurus, can predict the result of any game with such accuracy and consistency that it will bring the bookmaking business to its knees. You don’t believe it to be possible. I don’t believe it to be possible. Expect a reasonably good betting manual – and ideas you can use to make some extra money. Football betting is football betting. Sales pages are an animal of a different kind. Don’t get caught in the hype.

Opinion: This is one of the most comprehensive sports betting packages I’ve seen in years. The impression I got was that the author had become fed up with incomplete, half-baked excuses for sports betting systems, and decided to raise the standard — to a level that would be difficult for the average system author to ever meet. The manuals will keep you busy for several days at least, and then probably a few more weeks to implement just a few of the various tips, techniques, systems and additional good advice. It’s important to point out (again) that both sports betting (at bookmakers or Betfair) as well as trading on sports at (mostly) Betfair are covered in detail.

Criticism/Advice: I hate sports betting sales pages. I understand the need for them, but sports betting is an animal of a peculiar color. And a sales page that makes things sound easy… OK, sometimes it is, but many times it isn’t. Most sales pages, unfortunately, is designed to increase your desire for the product, not to inform. Anyways, that’s the sales page, what about the product? There’s a lot of info. It would be best to test before you commit, and that can take time (at least you’d have plenty of ideas to work with).
