Opinion: Anytime you spend your money on information, you expect the source to be credible and experienced in the particular field. Ian Erskine, the author of the  Football Trading System lends exactly that kind of credibility to his information. Is the system any good? The short answer is, Yes. Trading on football games has become very popular, and many of the same themes are repeated in many systems. What Ian Erskine provides in his  Football Trading System is more than just what to do, he also explains how to select the games you should trade on to maximize the probability of ending up with a profit. Is it foolproof? No, but it does provide solid information, and done right you should end a lot more football games with additional profit in your Betfair account.

Criticism/Advice: As I said, one of the best point about Football Trading System is the author, Ian Erskine, as credible and honest  an expert you’ll hope to find. Bad point is, even he’s not always right. And since he sends out emails several times a week telling you which games he has on his short list for trading, you’ll get to depend on his opinion – which, as I’ve said, does not always produce a profit.

Opinion: As the Snooker Trading Made Simple product page states, the benefits of snooker trading include low risk trading opportunities, low capital requirements, high profit margins, no screen watching for hours on end, and no previous experience of trading or snooker necessary. The manual delivers on its promise with accurate, concise information. As stated in the description, six methods are explained, any of which can be used to generate very decent profits from snooker trading.

Criticism/Advice: The one disadvantage of snooker trading is the fact that, unlike tennis or horse racing or greyhounds, snooker tournaments are not played on a weekly basis. Having said that, if you don’t limit yourself to one sport market, Snooker Trading Made Simple should prove to be a profitable inclusion in your trading strategies portfolio.

Opinion: With some laying systems you’re required to sit around waiting for the majority of punters to start pumping money into the race in order to see which horse might be considered a good lay selection. With  Easy Money From Losing Horses you can compile a short list of potential selections as early as the night before, using the forecast prices on the Racing Post, or simply browse through the race cards mid-morning. As I’ve mentioned in the description, a printable table is also included in the main manual which you can use as you go through the day’s race cards, checking off the set of filters for potential qualifiers. Not only is this process thorough, it also enables you to be very selective with your final selections, only choosing those runners with the weakest chance of winning.

Criticism/Advice: Of course, as with any laying system, even the weakest of favorites can trot home the winner. And as any regular punter knows, this can even happen more than once in a row.  Easy Money From Losing Horses is one of the most thorough lay selection methods on the market, but to be on the safe side, start slow, be selective, and don’t expect to be doubling your bank in three days.

Opinion: Better described as a handbook on laying certain favorites, this book counts under a few that truly tries to educate the punter on the art and science of laying on Betfair. As with a few other systems, one gets the distinct idea that the author wanted to restore the balance of solid betting information available on the Internet that is sometimes skewed by unproven “systems.”  The False Favourites Laying System is essential reading if you’re interested in betting on horses, and definitely recommended if you’re serious about making money on the horses.

Criticism/Advice: It truly is difficult to come up with criticism of False Favourites, simply because it is not merely a set of selection criteria that can let you down. It’s an honest, expert guide book on the topic of laying favorites. The only “bad” point might actually be that: you might find it a bit boring if you’re looking for the instant gratification of a quick formula. (Although it does have a set of criteria you can follow, it really is best if you read the entire manual.)

Description: Frank Belanger shares 21 sport betting systems used by himself and other professional sports bettors.  Most of the systems can be applied to any sport, although a few are specifically designed for baseball. The systems range from short term-high profit (entailing more risk) to monthly/weekly target cycles and others with much lower risk but consistent long-term profits. Besides the PDF manual, Belanger’s customers also get 30 days’ free access to his premium selections as well as unlimited access to his daily pick.

Opinion:  The Bookie Buster manual has been a proven resource in sports betting circles for a few years now. It provides a good introduction to sports betting, and then you’re treated to formulas and staking plans for any level of risk. A number of baseball selection systems are also included. Tip: If you’re new to sports betting, the author recommends his System #21 along with his daily pick. The system is fairly low risk with good potential to build a solid bankroll over the long run. Another tip: Do yourself a favour and print the manual out. It’s 160 pages long, and it help if you make notes or highlight formulas or important points as you go along.

Criticism/Advice: Belanger’s occasional bad English (I think his first language is French) makes one wonder why he doesn’t just pay someone to proofread his text, but it shouldn’t make a difference to your bottom line. His sales page is a bit too much hype for my taste, which is a pity. Sports betting is never easy, and never guaranteed. And to quote big numbers is just, well, too much hype. One should also be weary of formulas which can wipe out your bank in a really bad stretch of results.

Having said that, I personally used some of the  formulas for my own systems, and his daily picks is a time saver. And he’s consistent about it.
